Glad you are here :)
I am Carolina Bonani, a 22-year-old graphic designer and visual artist from Rio de Janeiro,    currently in my final year of studying Visual Communication Design at PUC-Rio. My work is        rooted in observation and translation. I absorb my surroundings and express them through drawings, collages, videos, and poetry.
My creative process often revolves around nature. I incorporate: Animals, their instincts, and intentions; Plants, their movement and aesthetic, into my narratives and messages, exploring  mostly digital media as a tool for expression.
Throughout my studies, I have pursued international experiences that shaped my creative approach. During high school, I completed a one-month exchange at UCLA in Los Angeles to study English. Later, during university, I spent a year in Berlin at BSDC (Berlin School of Design and Communication), where I studied Graphic Design. Additionally, I was awarded a scholarship for a summer course at Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK), where I explored abandoned spaces in the course "Exploring Atopies: De-Generated Places." These experiences expanded my perspective on design, space, and storytelling.
Professionally, I spent a year and a half as a design intern at Jabuticasa, a Rio-based furniture design brand, where I refined my skills in clean, structured layouts. Currently, I work as a Junior Graphic Designer at Out Off Office, a global digital marketing agency. There, I contribute to projects such as Pedro Bial’s social media presence, GraziEyewear by Vogue Eyewear, and others temporary projects
My work exists in the intersection of design, nature, and storytelling—constantly evolving, always searching.
